About WatchRadar

Built to Reduce Risk in Watch Transactions

Published by WatchRadar Team on March 10, 2026.

What We Do

WatchRadar is an iPhone app focused on one practical outcome: helping collectors and buyers estimate authenticity risk before they commit to a transaction. We use image-based pattern checks and structured scoring to highlight details that deserve closer attention, including dial printing consistency, marker alignment, case finishing clues, and common replication signatures.

How Our Analysis Works

Every scan converts visible watch signals into confidence factors. Instead of a black-box answer, the app returns a factor-level breakdown showing what looks aligned with reference expectations and what appears uncertain or potentially inconsistent. Our system is intentionally conservative because watch condition, lighting, camera quality, and post-processing can distort visual evidence.

WatchRadar does not open cases, inspect movements, or verify serial history. For high-value purchases, we recommend combining app guidance with seller provenance checks, service history, and hands-on authentication by a qualified expert.

Product Principles

  • Clarity first: users should understand why a score moved up or down.
  • Practicality: insights should support a buy, hold, or request-more-evidence decision.
  • Responsible claims: no guarantees, no legal certificate language, and no false certainty.
  • Continuous refinement: we improve guidance as new watch images and edge cases are reviewed.

Who Maintains WatchRadar

The WatchRadar Team maintains this product, policy pages, and support materials. We monitor support tickets to identify recurring friction in scan quality, onboarding, and subscription recovery. Product updates prioritize transparent scoring behavior, faster turnaround in the scan flow, and improved educational guidance for first-time collectors.
